Rechargeable 3-axis Self Recording Accelerometer X6-2
General
The X6-2 is the next generation X6-1, which implements a low noise digital 3-axis accelerometer, a 420mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, and a convenient push button switch to start and stop data recording. Data is recorded at user selectable rates of up to 320Hz. The X6-2 acts as a USB Mass storage device (like a USB flash drive) when connected to a personal computer. Data is stored as plain text Comma Separated Values (.csv), ready to be imported into any spreadsheet, word processor, or end user application.

Configuring
A simple text file is used to configure the device gain, dead band, and size of each data file.
Data Format
Data is contained in easily readable plain text files. Meta data starts with a ";" and the comma delimited data (.csv) can be analyzed with a spreadsheet or text processor as shown here
